A wonderfully soft and thick blanket made from the wool of sheep living in the extremely challenging conditions of New Zealand.
Merino wool is an exceptionally soft, non-itchy yarn with hypoallergenic properties. It is the same type of wool used to make thermal underwear for alpine climbing, as it retains warmth even when wet. It efficiently wicks away moisture and provides warmth even in the most demanding conditions.
The blanket helps improve sleep quality. It is made from 100% natural wool sourced from free-range sheep living in a pristine environment. The sheep are shorn, and the wool is cleaned using natural methods.
Wool naturally responds to its surroundings and temperature. The fibres expand when exposed to heat and contract in colder conditions, providing excellent thermal insulation. It keeps you warm in winter and comfortably cool in summer. This blanket is suitable even during periods of severe frost and strong winds.
The yarn comes with an original certificate of origin and production from The Woolmark Company. This confirms its premium quality. We encourage you to explore the yarn manufacturer’s analyses and test results. The wool is also certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Good to know:
Merino wool does not itch. Its fibres are much finer than those of conventional wool and are also highly flexible. When they come into contact with the skin, the fibres bend instead of pricking it. The self-cleaning scales on their surface give the wool antibacterial properties and help prevent it from absorbing odours. It also stays clean longer than many other fibres.

Important information:
Flame resistance – merino fibres do not melt. Merino wool is naturally flame-resistant and safe. If exposed to fire, it will not melt or stick to the skin.
Natural UV protection – provides effective protection against sunlight.
Washing instructions:
Hand wash or machine wash using a dedicated wool cycle. Reduce the spin speed to 200 rpm or select no spin. Use only a high-quality detergent designed specifically for wool.
MERINO WOOL – HOW TO CARE FOR IT
Merino wool does not require frequent washing.
Machine wash only using a gentle wool cycle and a detergent specifically designed for wool. From time to time, we recommend washing the blanket with a wool detergent containing lanolin.
Do not wash the blanket unless necessary. Merino wool usually only needs to be aired, and washing is recommended only when heavily soiled. Wool has natural self-cleaning properties. After washing, gently fluff and reshape the blanket by hand.
Dry flat. Do not dry directly on a heat source, such as a radiator or underfloor heating.
Merino wool may naturally pill in areas exposed to frequent friction. Any small pills can be removed using a fabric shaver. Pilling does not affect the blanket’s properties or the thickness of the yarn.
For everyday care and refreshing, we recommend using a clothes brush. You can purchase one HERE. Brushing wool helps clean it, improves its elasticity and volume, and extends its lifespan.

Natural yarn made from 100% merino wool has a distinctive wool scent, which may become more noticeable as humidity increases. This is characteristic of all natural wool products and confirms the authenticity of the yarn.
